Step 3 – Assess your learning objectives with a virtual patient

Objective: Evaluate your consultation skills and compare them to the gold standard.

Procedure:

• Interact with the Virtual Patient Interface and test your knowledge acquired so far in this module.
• You will see three different coloured Flags progress bars on top of the chart screen. The MEKSI team has repurposed the flags for the purpose of AFL (Assessment for Learning) method.
• • Green Flags are to assess your in-depth Knowledge of a specific medical condition 
  • Red Flags demonstrate the safety of the doctor. Shows you have to eliminate the life threatening or dangerous differentials. 
  • Diff Dx (Purple bar) shows you have tried to eliminate the non life-threatening differential conditions. 
• After completing the entire case study, click on the “ Score” button located at the top right of the virtual patient interface.
• Review your score to understand areas of strength and potential improvement.
• Note: This step is mandatory for CPD qualification.
